The IDU is pleased to invite you to its conference on The Challenges of Housing Affordability in Quebec City, which will take place on March 17 from 8am to 11am in Quebec City (location to be announced) !
In a context marked by the housing crisis, this conference will highlight the growing challenges associated with developing affordable housing for Quebec households. To set the stage, Francis Cortellino, Économiste du marché de l’habitation au Québec de la Société canadienne d'hypothèques et de logement (SCHL), will present his latest data, a comprehensive overview of the residential market situation, which will fuel the discussions that follow.
Next, Nathalie Gauthier, Spécialiste, Transfert des connaissances - Relations externes de la SCHL et Annie Grégoire, Vice-présidente aux réseaux et à la gestion de l’habitation de la Société d’habitation du Québec (SHQ), will present the efforts of the federal and provincial governments to restore affordability. They will discuss programs, financial incentives, and project support.
The event will conclude with a panel discussion, whose moderator and panelists will be announced shortly !
The reception will begin at 8am with breakfast and a networking period, followed by the conference starting at 9am.
